Buy your 2024 Grand Ball Tickets HERE!

The 2024 VSC Grand Ball will feature live music and dancing of the Victorian era (1831-1901). Come dance to live music by the Lily Gilders on the Sons of Italy's fabulous wood floor. All dances will be taught by dance historian, Sharon Guli and no prior dance experience is needed.

Historic attire is encouraged but not required, modern dressy is a fine alternative. Bring a camera, you will want to photograph this event!

This year's intermission will highlight The Gilded Age show from HBO.  There will be a photo backdrop available to take pictures with your own camera, as well as a professional photo booth for an additional fee.  During intermission we will have a Best Dressed Contest.

Printing your ticket is OPTIONAL and will not be needed at the door. Your name will be on a Guest List at check in. Sales at the door depend on ticket availability. Last year we sold out and there were NO ticket sales at the door. Reserve your tickets in advance, but remember NO REFUNDS after September 1, 2024.

This venue IS wheelchair accessible. Parking is plenty and free. For the sake of the neighbors, we encourage you to refrain from parking lot conversations late at night.

This year we are moving our hors d'oeuvres buffet to start promptly at 6 pm, doors open at 5 pm. We begin dancing at 7:00 pm, until approximately 8:30 pm. when we will have intermission desserts (after the dance that ends the closest to 8:30 pm) and our best dressed contest. The final dance will end at 10:30 pm. Please stay and help us clean up afterwards.

The silent auction supports the VSC, which is a Colorado non-profit 501 (4) (c)(4). We'd love for you to bring an item to donate for sale and some cash to buy other silent auction items. (Auction items do not have to be Victorian). Have questions about VSC 2024 Victorian Grand Ball? Contact info@VictorianSocietyofColorado.org or Nico Gustafson at 303-960-4688.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

12 or older must have a ticket. Under age 16, see children policy below. Have your ID available, but it is ok if you are using someone else's ticket and only have YOUR ID with you.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Sons & Daughters of Italy Venue has a parking lot and parking is free. For the sake of the neighbors we encourage you to refrain from parking lot conversations late at night.

info@VictorianSocietyofColorado.org Nico Gustafson at 303-960-4688.

What is the refund policy?

Tickets are refundable through August 31, 2024. No refunds beginning Sept 1, 2024*, however tickets are transferable. We have sold out several times, so buying in advance is a good idea. THE FIRST 30 TICKETS SOLD WILL BE AT A DISCOUNT. We have had to make more room for a larger group by having less tables in previous years, so we do NOT guarantee a seat at a table during intermission.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not need your printed ticket. Your name will be on the guest list. (If you give your ticket to someone else they must know the exact name you purchased the ticket under and will show their own ID).

Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?

Yes, however we will not be updating the new info in advance if you sell or give your ticket away. The new person should come with your name and update the name and info at the event desk.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. When you check in at the event give us the purchase name and sow the ID for the new name.

What is your CHILD POLICY?

We view children as the future of our Club and welcome them to our Grand Ball when they can adhere to our child policy, as follows:

1) Children should never walk or run across the dance floor during a dance, because of the risk of tripping people.

2) The dance mistress will announce when a particular dance is too complex for children and they will need to sit and watch instead of participating in that dance.
